EURHODIP 2024
ABOUT
WHAT IS IT?
“THE SCHOOL OF TO-MORROW”
« What impacts does Artificial Intelligence have on Education?
hotels, restaurants, and tourism »

This theme, to be addressed at the EURHODIP conference in 2024, aims to better understand the challenges that hospitality and
tourism schools will soon have to face to adapt to new learning methods and measure the impact that ai generates on education.
It will be an opportunity to take stock of the current evolution of AI in the service of education and to exchange on the experiences
already initiated by some members of Eurhodip in the new technologies sector.
The launch of research on this theme by the editorial board of the European Journal of Tourism & Hospitality Management, under the
cover of the Advisory Board, could be initiated, at the latest during the Famagusta conference, in order to feed the reflection from our
members. The publication of the scientific journal would then be scheduled at the time of the 2024 conference.
Workshops or round tables would allow, for example, to present the theme in different fields:
1.What use do students make of AI and new technologies in the field of knowledge acquisition?
2.What are the future ways of learning in the hospitality and tourism industry: online, experiential learning, virtual reality, mobile
training, personalized learning, etc.
3.What impacts do AI and new technologies generate on traditional teachers and on teachers of professional practices: access to
improved pedagogical resources, assistance in the assessment of learners, adaptation of teaching, personalization of teaching,
new roles for teachers, etc.
4.What are the impacts on the transmission of knowledge, on curricula, content, on the development of students’ critical thinking,
etc…
